Welcome!
Hereford Learning Hub is an alternative education centre that stands out as a home away from home centre for children from various backgrounds and learning needs. At its core, the centre is built on the foundational belief that every child deserves to be supported and accepted, embracing the individuality and unique learning motivation of each child/young person. Unlike traditional educational environments, Hereford Learning Hub has an innovative approach to education that offers a nurturing, inclusive and understanding neurodivergent safe space, led and run by neurodivergent teachers.

Starts on Thursday 26th February, 6–8pm at Hub for Hope, Drybridge House, St Martin's Street, Hereford, HR2 7SG.
It’s a relaxed, supportive space for parent carers of children and young people with additional needs, neurodivergence, anxiety, mental health or emotional wellbeing difficulties. Main topics are based around Children's Mental health, Anxiety, Autism, ADHD, EBSA (school avoidance) and SEN, but also aim to meet the needs of other topic areas as required.
The group is very much about :
-
being around other parents who “get it”
-
having space to talk (or not talk)
-
sharing experiences
-
receive support
-
getting practical ideas and guidance
-
not having to explain or justify your situation
-
Learn about strategies in a range of topics relevant to your situation
There’s no pressure to share, no expectations, and no “right way” to be there - you can come just to listen, have a cuppa, and be in a space where you’re understood.
